DAY 1:
Arrival at Chennai- Arrival at Chennai and Transfer to your hotel. Check in to the hotel and then proceed for city tour covering Kabaleswar Temple, Santhome Cathedral, Marina Beach, Fort Museum, National Art gallery, St. Thomas mount, Little mount shrine, Valluvarkottam, sittrarengam . Evening return to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 2:
Chennai-Mahabalipuram ( 85 k.m; 2 ½ Hours journey) – After breakfast check out and proceed to Mahabalipuram, enroute visit kalilsanatha temple, Ekambaranatha temple etc at Kancheepuram. Arrival at Mahabalipuram. Check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3 :
At Mahabalipuram – After breakfast historical Tour at Mahabalipuram. At Mahabalipuram visit, Arjuna’s penance, Rathas, Shore temples, Krishnamandapam. Evening return to the hotel. Enjoy the beach. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 4 :
Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry – Morning after breakfast proceed to Pondicherry. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 5 :
At Pondicherry – Morning after breakfast visit Sree Aurobindo Ashram. The world famous Sree Aurobindo Ashram is situated here. Raj Nivas- The official residence of the Lieutenant Governor, now known as Raj Nivas, is a true specimen of the fusion of Indian and French cultures. Evening return to the Hotel. Day 06 :
Pondicherry- Tanjore – Morning after breakfast proceed to Tanjore. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Sri Brahadeeswara Temple and Art Gallery. Evening return to the hotel. overnight at Hotel
Day 07 :
Tanjore-Trichi-Madurai – After breakfast check out and proceed to Madurai, enroute Rock Fort Temple at Trichi- The Rock Fort Temple is in the centre of the city and is a prominent land mark. It is 83 metre high and can be reached by climbing 437 steps cut into a tunnel through the rock and then visit Sreerangam Temple. Evening arrival at 00Madurai. Check in to Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 08 :
At Madurai – In the Morning after breakfast visit the famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple and then visit the Market in the old town. Evening return to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 09 :
Madurai-Periyar – At Periyar – After breakfast check out and, proceed to periyar .Check into the hotel and relax. Evening spice plantation tour and return to the Hotel.Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 :
Periyar -Munnar – Early morning Boating inside the wild Life Sanctuary .After breakfast check out and proceed to Munnar” The Tea Garden Hill Station, Check in to the hotel. Evening visit to Mattuppetty Dam, Kundala Dam and Echo Point. Evening return to the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 11:
At Munnar – After breakfast, proceed to visit the Eravikulam National Park ‘ where you get to see the endangered Nilgiri Tahr”. Later on proceed to visit, Tea Museum where in you discover how the tealeaves are processed from the raw stage to final. Tea tasting is also available.Evening return to the Hotel. Day 12 :
Munnar-Cochin – After breakfast check out and proceed to Cochin, enroute visit cheeyapara waterfalls. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 13 :
At Cochin – After breakfast cochin sight seeing covering Dutch Palace,Jewish Synagogue at Mattancherry and St.Francis Church, Indo Protuguese Museum, Chinese Fishing nets at Fort Kochi. Evening Kathakali Show. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 14 :
Cochin to Alleppey – After breakfast check out and proceed to alleppey . At 12 Noon check in to houseboat for backwater cruise alleppey backwaters. Explore the virgin landscapes, long stretches of winding canals and waterways dotted by tiny hamlets and lush green paddy fields. By Noon you will be served traditional kerala lunch on board. By evening the houseboat anchor for an unforgettable night in the backwaters. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight stay in the houseboat.
Day 15 :
Alleppey to kovalam (175 K.m; 4 Hours Journey) – In the morning, houseboat will start cruising again. After Breakfast at 9.00 a.m check out and proceed to to Kovalam ‘ the beach paradise’.Reach kovalam. Check into the resort and relax. Enjoy the beach.Overnight stay.
Day 16:
Kovalam – In the morning after breakfast Trivandrum city sight seeing covering Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and museum. Evening return to the Hotel. Overnight stay at Kovalam.
Day 17:
After breakfast check out and transfer to Airport/Railway Stations for your onward journey
